In dialogue with local communities. Baltica 2 investors meet with fishermen community.

PGE and Ørsted are jointly implementing the Baltica 2 Offshore Wind Farm project. On 21-23 Ocetober 2025, a series of meetings took place in Ustka, Darłowo, Łeba and Władysławowo in connection with the announcement of a transitional compensation system for fishermen who conducted fishing and recreational activities in the area of the Baltica 2 offshore wind farm construction.
During the meetings, the companies’ representatives provided participants with key information about the work schedule and discussed the rules for awarding compensation.

The representatives also answered questions from fishermen and listened to their opinions and comments on the rules for awarding compensation. The questions posed during the meetings, along with the answers, will soon be published on the baltica.energy website.

PGE and Ørsted plan to complete the construction of Baltica 2, with a capacity of approximately 1.5 GW, by the end of 2027. The offshore wind farm will supply green energy to over 2.5 million households. Meetings with fishermen are an integral part of the process. Investors are continuing their dialogue with the fishermen community.
