Our ‘licence’ to build and operate offshore wind farms

Ørsted and PGE have very high requirements in this area to achieve the highest possible standards. We depend on people to work both onshore and offshore. We need to provide a framework that supports not only safety, but also the health of employees at the highest level.

In October 2024, Ørsted and PGE held the first safety walk on the construction site of the onshore part of the Baltica 2. Safety walk project is an important initiative that is part of building a safety culture for the entire project, both among the employees of both partners and our suppliers, where we not only review safety rules, but also look for areas for improvement. Quality, health and safety are areas that we consider in all our decisions and actions. All this is done so that every person working on the project can return home safely each day.
